Cogito, ergo sum, or I think, therefore I am, is a philosophical statement used by René Descartes, which became a foundational element of Western philosophy. From this statement comes the above design available in many different t-shirts and products. Inside of the female head there is a number of gears working. They are creating thoughts. Maybe she is thinking the following:
But I have convinced myself that there is absolutely nothing in the world, no sky, no earth, no minds, no bodies. Does it now follow that I too do not exist? No: if I convinced myself of something, or thought anything at all, then I certainly existed. But there is a deceiver of supreme power and cunning who is deliberately and constantly deceiving me. In that case I too undoubtedly exist, if he is deceiving me; and let him deceive me as much as he can, he will never bring it about that I am nothing so long as I think that I am something. So, after considering everything very thoroughly, I must finally conclude that the proposition, I am, I exist, is necessarily true whenever it is put forward by me or conceived in my mind.Nassoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11135063631378311708noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35069519.post-34027916579849379502008-01-17T16:18:00.000-08:002008-12-09T00:41:25.996-08:00The ghost pirate ship that can never go home.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_A-ol-xLkZ-I/R4_xHRuUXfI/AAAAAAAAAHI/pn9u9e4Ecro/s1600-h/5219985.4500451.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_A-ol-xLkZ-I/R4_xHRuUXfI/AAAAAAAAAHI/pn9u9e4Ecro/s400/5219985.4500451.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5156605205681561074" border="0" /></a>
According to folklore, the Flying Dutchman is a ghost ship that can never go home, and is doomed to sail the oceans forever. The Flying Dutchman is usually spotted from afar, sometimes seen to be glowing with ghostly light. It is said that if she is hailed by another ship, her crew will often try to send messages to land or to people long since dead. In ocean lore, the sight of this phantom ship is reckoned by seafarers to be a portent of doom. Dutch captain Bernard Fokke is said to be the captain of the ghost ship. Fokke was renowned for the uncanny speed of his trips from Holland to Java and was suspected of being in league with the devil.

We've created just for you a number of new designs: from the the cutest and romantic to the sexiest and bizarre... <br>Also known as a hickey.
INSTUCTIONS: 1. Choose the right spot... You can give someone a hickey just about anywhere. The most common place is on the throat, because the capillaries (tiny blood vessels) that are broken during a hickey are pretty close to the surface and because you don’t need to remove any clothing to give a hickey on the neck. These are also the most easily visible, and while visibility is usually intended, you may want to <br>give or receive a hickey elsewhere where it is more easily covered. 2. Place your lips against the skin, leaving your mouth open slightly in the middle. Your lips should be parted as though you are saying the letter “O.” 3. Suck on the skin. Make a good seal with your lips against the skin, and suck the skin as though you’re trying to suck it into your mouth. Continue applying suction for at least 30 seconds, possibly more. The suction will break the capillaries beneath the skin and cause the characteristic bruising that is a hickey.

Loves Me, Loves Me Not or effeuiller la marguerite (in French) is a game of French origin, in which one person seeks to determine whether the object of his or her affection returns that affection or not. It is often spoken while plucking the petals of a flower (especially an ox-eye daisy or marguerite) one by one, with the last petal giving the "answer" to whether he or she loves you. It is therefore dependent on whether the flower has an even or odd number of petals. It is traditionally performed by a person infatuated with another, seeking to reaffirm a pre-existing belief. It may also be performed whimsically.

I don't know why but recently I have been creating many different designs with a Japanese theam. Nothing wrong with that.
The word Geisha means "artist" in Japanese. Geisha are professional hostesses who entertain guests through various performing arts in tea houses called O-chaya. They are trained in a number of traditional skills such as Japanese ancient dance, singing, playing instruments such as the Shamisen, flower arrangement, wearing kimo no, tea ceremony, calligraphy, conversation, alcohol serving manners and more. Geisha continue to study and perfect these skills throughout their careers as geisha.Nassoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11135063631378311708noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35069519.post-72087167913965650382007-12-03T12:41:00.000-08:002007-12-07T13:49:03.065-08:00<center>

Many people find Polar Bears cute and funny. Though I would not like to spend a single moment in a Polar bear’s cage I could see how these yellow-white fur creatures have become so popular and lovable. They are very expressive with their mannerisms.
Though I have never seen one wearing skates or a scarf yet their anthropomorphic qualities are so evident that I can easily imagine them doing stuff we do.
Here is a set of cards featuring some arctic polar bears doing what you will actually never see them do but so well fit the Christmas-winter spirit!Nassoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11135063631378311708noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35069519.post-64945481544807233752007-11-09T12:39:00.000-08:002007-11-09T12:49:59.321-08:00NEW HOLIDAY CARDS FROM TEETEASER!<center>

Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time!<br>

On November 3 1957 the Soviet Union spacecraft Sputnik 2 was launched into space with only occupant a small female dog named Laika.
Although Laika did not survive the trip, the experiment proved that a living passenger could survive being launched into orbit and endure weightlessness. It paved the way for human spaceflight and provided scientists with some of the first data on how living organisms react to spaceflight environments.
Laika's pioneering journey made her one of the most famous dogs in the world and this design commemorates Laika and her short lived adventure in space.Nassoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11135063631378311708noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35069519.post-32778592779147795092007-10-09T19:37:00.000-07:002008-12-09T00:41:26.347-08:00The Raven<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.cafepress.com/sportgraphics/3809543"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_A-ol-xLkZ-I/Rww8nr-iuHI/AAAAAAAAAGo/cTjF5q6jds8/s400/darkraven+copy.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5119533528931022962" border="0" /></a>
And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
And the lamplight o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
Shall be lifted--nevermore!<br><br>

One of the first lines of designs introduced at the <a href="http://www.teeteaser.com">Teeteaser</a> online store was <a href="http://http://www.cafepress.com/sportgraphics/1370358">GIRL VS GIRLS</a> and <a href="http://www.cafepress.com/sportgraphics/2136646">GIRLS in UNIFORM</a>. These have become the corner stones of our business and even now more than a year later every month we see many sales of these adorable designs. When these designs hit the market we were not yet invested into producing dark or color tees so the designs were not created in a fashion that will allow them to be printed in such garments. But many things have changed since then and now we carry a full line of dark and color apparel so it is about time to go back and re-work these favorite designs so anyone can now have to option to get them on color or dark apparel. Please visit our <a href="http://www.cafepress.com/sportgraphics/1370358">GIRL VS GIRLS</a> and <a href="http://www.cafepress.com/sportgraphics/2136646">GIRLS in UNIFORM</a> sections to see how good they look!Nassoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11135063631378311708noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35069519.post-31220977899953808232007-09-27T13:19:00.001-07:002008-12-09T00:41:26.808-08:00The Skull Fashion<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.cafepress.com/sportgraphics/3067384"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_A-ol-xLkZ-I/RvwWQb-iuDI/AAAAAAAAAGI/hHSOlLUDcm8/s400/skulls.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5114987748429838386" border="0" /></a>
One of the most popular trends this year has been skulls. Yes, the old bonehead is back or is making a come back. Teeteaser has added its own version of this popular subject in a few nice looking vintage designs that are going to find their place at your wardrobe. From as long as I remember myself I remember me drawing. My career as an artist expands in more than two decades of work in various fields of the visual arts including animation, design, character design, illustration, comic books, book illustration, cartoons, storyboarding, fine art painting, you name it. During my professional career, I have received credits in numerous Hollywood and European feature animated films, commercials, and television shows. I have been nominated twice for an EMMY award and received one in 2006. In addition, I have also enjoyed my paintings exhibited in many galleries, my cartoons and comic books published in different languages, and my designs used in advertisements around the world.
This <a href="http://www.cafepress.com/sportgraphics.172580053">sketchbook</a> is a collection of <a href="http://teeteaser.com/freeimages/sample.jpg">pencil and digital drawings</a> I created when I first launched my own t-shirt company on April 2006. The subject of these drawings is: pretty girls in sports, anime girls, and the Queens of the playing cards deck. All drawings are available in color at my online store: <a href="http://www.teeteaser.com/">http://www.teeteaser.com</a> decorating a variety of t-shirts and other fine products.Nassoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11135063631378311708noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35069519.post-18292890178850952602007-09-18T22:00:00.000-07:002008-12-09T00:41:27.045-08:00Where the Eagles Dare<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.cafepress.com/sportgraphics/3697738"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_GGTAPXarkVo/RvCu5hoO5CI/AAAAAAAAAAk/a4xfHgKvHZk/s400/5219985.3697738.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5111777880368407586" border="0" /></a>
The eagle has been used by many nations as a national symbol, depicting power, beauty and independence. Like all birds of prey, eagles have very large powerful hooked beaks for tearing flesh from their prey, strong legs, and powerful talons. They also have extremely keen eyesight to enable them to spot potential prey from a very long distance. This keen eyesight is primarily contributed by their extremely large pupils which cause minimal diffraction (scattering) of the incoming light.
This picture of an eagle rushing through a burning ring of thorns symbolizes the continued endurance and braveness of this majestic bird.
Inspired from Alistair MacLean's classic World War II novel and the motion picture adventure this design is also destined to become a classic.TeeTeaser Managmenthttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09347811269787875331noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35069519.post-9104827788510058682007-09-17T11:45:00.000-07:002007-09-17T11:49:34.051-07:00CRIME TIME NEW EPISODEAnother of my CRIME TIME animated episode is up at youtube.
Crime always pays - with big laughs in this clever series of rambunctious animated shorts. Shifty (The Criminal), a pint-sized pilferer with lofty ambitions and limited brainpower, perpetrates crimes from the sublime to the ridiculous - and never quite pulls them off, resulting in hilarious consequences. Rendered in a graphic style reminiscent of classic UPA shorts, the action is nothing short of... arresting!
Shifty (The Criminal) pulls paint duty at the penitentiary, where, chased by a mean police dog, he has a brush with escape.

We start our fall season with THE THINKER. THE THINKER is the newest design added at our ART collection and pictures a version of the famous sculpture by Auguste Rodin. At the ART collection you can find several designs that are variations of original museum paintings or sculptures ( these are well knows pieces of artwork found in museums around the world) usually presented with a funny or bizarre twist. Among the designs stand out the following:
THE THINKER: Ivy has grown on top of the famous Auguste Rodin statue.

Finally after a few months from the day I started this line of designs I had the time to add the last 4 and complete a set of twelve (12) original designs. The Happy Animals line is a collection of 12 simple designs of farm and zoo animals originally created to decorate kid's clothing but later expanded so they can decorate even adult apparel. Since originally the designs were created to decorate kids clothing he main emphasis here was the vibrant colors. The representation of the animals on the other hand is very cartoony and simple and attention was given into their cute and goofy expressions.
I recommend a set of the 12 different tiles that can decorate a kid's bathroom or serve as coasters.Nassoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11135063631378311708noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35069519.post-91537202295597406752007-08-08T05:52:00.000-07:002007-08-10T08:42:35.881-07:00Crime Time Spots!Watch the first two episodes of Crime Time series created by Future Thought and directed by Emmy Award winner animation guru, Nassos Vakalis! I must admit I have hold too long away from this one but I think it is time to visit it again! So what 's new and different with our designs? Well we are introducing a new type face for the acronyms of our locations. This is a similar text used for our new Teeteaser.com signature. It works very well because it emphasizes the negative space of the letters making them pop out in the color tees. I also stayed away form the heart symbol, maybe I will return to this sometime later but for the moment it felt better to spell the word "I love..." Last but not least we have added the crown. The crown is a very fashionable symbol of our days and it is used in many t-shirt lines we like. Our crown was first drawn on paper and later was digitally treated with my exclusive method of turning a hand drawing to a old print or crosshatch. Maybe one day I will post the Photoshop tutorial for this trick.
So far you can choose from:
<center><span style="font-weight: bold;">I LOVE LA</span></center>

From now on all our apparel will have our brand name and domain URL "teeteeaser.com" and Nassos's signature printed on the upper back of the garment . Certain t-shirts that might have another design ( artwork ) for their back or apparel that the back is used for the main design will have the URL and signature print either incorporated into the main design or in another location. We have taken this step because we want to emphasize our commitment to create a recognizable and strong brand. We believe that our greatest asset is Nassos's work and by having it signed we adding the value and the attention it deserves.<br>
On that note don't forget that you can still get a free drawing from Nassos's collection of Teeteaser drawings ( including GirlvsGirls and Girls in Uniforms! ) with every purchase or permanent link placement. In the European tradition a coat of arms is a design belonging to a particular person (or group of people) and used by them in a wide variety of ways in order to identify them amongst other groups. This is a unique design and it is different from a flag or a shield because a coat of arms is inheritable property, and generally descend to male lineal descendent's of the original arms grantee. Used primarily to establish identity in medieval battlefields these designs were placed on the cloth tunic worn over the knight's armor in order to identify the knight and to protect his armor from the heat.
Following this early European tradition and trying to make things a bit more simple (or simplistic) we establishing our own coat of arms and we hope our customers and friends could wear this over their body in order to identify them selfs in the battle field of life as part of the "teeteaser" clan.Nassoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11135063631378311708noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35069519.post-10072406511023279392007-06-23T21:29:00.000-07:002008-12-09T00:41:29.071-08:00Flowers of Blood<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.cafepress.com/sportgraphics/3189048"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_A-ol-xLkZ-I/RoFW3TnHvHI/AAAAAAAAABk/0EExY1OfXOA/s400/l1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5080437362807782514" border="0" /></a>

I created these two designs inspired from the work of Jackson Pollock. Jackson Pollock was an influential American painter and a major force in the abstract impressionistic movement. Since Pollock's work has always polarized critics and has been the focus of many important critical debates, in the same manner, we hope our own work and the mix of the flower theme with the blood stain will also create its own controversy within the t-shirt community. If you find the subject a bit too gory then bookmark the links and you can visit the site again during Halloween! The t-shirts will make excellent gifts.
If you like to entertain yourself using the Pollock style of action painting there is an excellent web site where you can paint on screen using your mouse. The outcome is paint splattering. You will find this extremely entertaining and relaxing!
